Joe Hart completes loan move to Torino

England goalkeeper Joe Hart has completed his highly anticipated move to Serie A side Torino this afternoon.

Images began to circulate over the past few days indicating that the deal was already done and today pen was officially put to paper regarding the move.

"Suddenly, my career has been an important turning: it was a sign," Hart told the club's official website. "Torino’s offer came in the right moment.

"I am very excited to compare myself in an important and beautiful League such as Serie A. The history of Italian goalkeepers is known everywhere: I am sure I can learn in Torino too.

"For these reasons I accepted President Cairo’s proposal. I have already met Attilio Lombardo, with whom I worked in Manchester winning a lot: I hope to live the same emotions this year.

Club president Urbano Cairo said:  "Joe Hart is an international goalkeeper with a considerable experience in Manchester City Football Club and in his National Team where he made his debut when he was only 21.

"His transfer to Torino makes us proud and demonstrates our willingness to build a more competitive team: however, only the results will prove it.

"Surely, we have not hesitated when we have had the possibility to start a negotiation with Manchester City.

"Not only his talent, but Hart brings with him also humility and enthusiasm. These are the same features that characterize our club. In this way, I am very glad of welcoming Joe Hart in Torino. Sempre Forza Toro!"

Hart had fallen down the pecking order with the arrival of Pep Guardiola to Manchester City earlier in the summer and the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager wasted no time in signing a replacement in the shape of Claudio Bravo.
