Dundalk welcome Cork City to Oriel Park on Tuesday evening in a game that could decide the Premier Division.
The reigning League and FAI Cup champions have a one-point advantage over Cork City with six games left in the season. Cork have won both league games between the teams 1-0 this season.
Last weekend, Cork closed the gap to a single point. John Caulfield's side had a 5-0 win away to Galway United. At the same time. Dundalk suffered their heaviest league defeat of the season with a 3-0 loss at home to Sligo Rovers.
Speaking to Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan on Tuesday morning, former Cork City player Joe Gamble expects the winners of the game to go on and win the league. If Dundalk win the title, it would be their third in a row. Cork City are looking for their first league title since 2005.
"It's that sort of big game. Neither team have looked like losing a lot of points. It's set up to be a cracking game."

Dundalk and Cork City's seasons have been dominated by the form of Daryl Horgan and Sean Maguire. The Galway-born winger has impressed in Europe for Dundalk, with ever-increasing calls he should be called up to the Irish senior team.
Maguire has scored 13 league goals this season. Gamble feels that whichever player has the better game could end up being instrumental in the result.
"If Maguire can have that performance, where it's a 9/10 performance... he can have the beating of the Dundalk defence".
Gamble expects Cork City to win the game and move two points clear of Dundalk.
