Jack Wilshere admits his time at Arsenal may be over

Jack Wilshere may have played his last game for Arsenal.

A product of the Arsenal academy, the 24-year-old joined the club aged nine. He made his debut for the first team in 2008, as a 16-year-old.

Ravaged by injuries in recent years, Wilshere only played three league games last season for Arsenal. He moved to Bournemouth in August on a season-long loan, where he has seen a resurgence in form, and a recall to the England squad.

Speaking on Tuesday, ahead of England's game with Scotland this weekend, Wilshere told Sky Sports he may not return to the Emirates next season.

"It's difficult for me to say because I love Arsenal and I've had great times there, and they've been great for me, and I can still see myself playing there."

"But who knows what the future holds? I've got a year left when I go back there."

"I always thought to myself 'of course I love Arsenal' but if there comes a time where I have to leave, then I have to leave, you know? If I go back and I'm not going to be playing, then, of course, I have to think about things."

The midfielder has already played eight times in the Premier League for Eddie Howe's side this season. After a slow start, he is beginning to find his form at the Vitality Stadium.

Could the English south coast, be the key to long-term future?
