"It's not good enough" | Ollie Horgan hits out at three-game ban

Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has hit out at the FAI after being handed a three-game suspension.

He'll miss their upcoming games against Dundalk, Drogheda and Waterford following his sending off in their defeat to Shamrock Rovers.

Horgan was sent to the stands for questioning why referee Rob Hennessy reversed a free-kick against his side.

"I think we've gone to a stage where we can't you cannot question any decision from the referee," he told Highland Radio.

"We still haven't got a reason why a free-kick was reversed and why there was a sending off. That's the sour taste in it."

"I think it's now a zero tolerance and I've no problem going and saying this, it's gone to to point where you can't question anything.

"There was no foul or abusive language or jumping around. We're entitled to question as manager or coach why a decision was reversed which caused a defeat against Shamrock Rovers.

"I've questioned it and I'm totally within my rights. The disappointing thing was that the officials refused to talk and explain afterward. It's not good enough.

Horgan was sent off twice last season and has received five yellow cards this term but he insists he wasn't abusive during the Rovers game.

"Maybe it's not good enough by me in years gone by, but against Shamrock Rovers I was absolutely entitled to question a decision. For a referee that refused to speak before, during and after, and on their behalf it's not good enough."
