Roy Keane says job satisfaction was the biggest reason for signing a new contract to stay on as the Ireland's assistant manager.
He joined manager Martin O'Neill in committing until the end of the 2018 World Cup.
Keane has not been in charge of a club side since leaving Ipswich in 2011, having also had a previous spell at Sunderland.
The former Manchester United and Ireland captain says he will keep an open mind on returning to management but won't go chasing roles.
"It depends who comes calling...Real Madrid...Barcelona...Altrincham...Barnet. It all depends," he said, with a dose of dry humour.
"I'll look at it but that's not in my mindset. I'm not one for networking. I don't have an agent, I don't apply for jobs. Never have. I'm committed to the Irish job. If I wasn't committed, I wouldn't have signed."

Next up for Ireland are World Cup qualifiers against Georgia on October 6th, followed by Moldova three days later and injury issues have been mounting for the Boys in Green.
Midfielder James McCarthy has reported no ill-effects from his return to training this week after a spell out with a groin problem.
However, Keane did cast doubt on the availability of Harry Arter, who has yet to resume training.
"I think he was due a scan or had a scan yesterday. I think the scan was pretty positive but obviously the player himself still feels a bit tight," he said.
"If you don't train two days before a game, then that's not good news. So we just hope it settles down in the next few days and he's available for the second match but we wouldn't be too hopeful."
