It's like Italia 90 all over again!
After the pain of Euro 2012, Wednesday night's win over Italy felt even sweeter. The fans were in the same mood, as they took to the streets to celebrate the win.
Ireland's last win in a major tournament came in 2002, when the team beat Saudi Arabia 3-0 in their final Group E game of the World Cup. No matter how hard fans would try, it is difficult to start the celebrations at 2pm in the afternoon.
Night time celebrations feel far more appropriate, and that's what that fans did after Robbie Brady's goal.
Traffic was stopped in towns and cities around the country, as the fans converged on the streets. Dublin and Cork, understandably seemed the busiest, as fans made some unforgettable memories.
Sunday afternoon, can't come quick enough.
