Ireland are out of the 2017 UEFA European under-17 Championships.
The Irish side were 1-0 by England with Manchester City's Jadon Sancho scoring the winning goal in the first half after just 13 minutes of play.
Aaron Bolger was sent off for Ireland late in the game.
England had 14 attempts on target in comparison to just one for Ireland over the 80 minutes.

Ireland owed their place in the quarter finals to a head to head record in their group over Bosnia & Herzegovina, despite suffering a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Germany in their final group fixture.
Germany, who topped Ireland's group, face the Netherlands at 4.45pm.
