Republic of Ireland international Alan Judge won’t play for Ipswich again this season.
Manager Paul Cook has confirmed that the midfielder won’t be selected as another appearance this term would trigger an automatic 12-month contract extension.
Cook admits that the situation is not ideal for the Tractor Boys but insists the club aren’t in a position to give the 32-year-old a new deal.

“It’s not ideal for us or Alan because I would have liked to have had him available for us over the rest of the season,” he told the club's website.
“I told him we are not in a position to trigger that extension to his contract and because of the situation, we won't be considering him for the remaining games.”
Dubliner Judge has made 91 appearances and scored nine goals since moving to Ipswich from Brentford in 2019.
