Ian Holloway is one of the most animated characters in British football and has become famous for his dealings with the press.
The 53-year-old does not shy away from dealing with tough questions and on the most part refrains from using stock answers to deal with the media.
His methods, unconventional as they may sometimes be, have seen him gain cult status among football supporters across the water.
He is now back in English football, taking the vacant position at Queen's Park Rangers in the hope of guiding them back to the Premier League.
In his first press conference as manager the discussion moved from getting the team back into the Premier League to setting targets for himself - something Holloway felt served no purpose as he was certain they would return to the English top flight, so what was the point in "limiting" themselves.
He addressed questions about his Premier League credentials - "I got 39 points with the worst budget ever" - and then the discussion moved onto the current situation with the England job.
Gareth Southgate looks certain to be given the job on a full-time basis after four games in charge, the last of which was a 2-2 draw against Spain on Tuesday night.
Sam Allardyce was dismissed after just one game in charge of the national team and Holloway criticised the FA regarding the way they went about their business in seeking a replacement.
"I mean, he has been undermined for four games, if you ask me," he said. "He has carried himself with real class but I don’t think the FA have carried themselves with real class. 'Oh, we are going to take our time.' To do what?"
Holloway admitted he would not have dismissed Allardyce for his part in the "newspaper scam" and said that some of the greatest managers to take the England job have been "hounded out". In the list he mentions Glenn Hoddle, who was dismissed for making a number of controversial comments about people with disabilities in a newspaper interview, and Sir Bobby Robson.
