Romelu Lukaku has admitted that the only team he would have left Inter Milan for was Chelsea after the Nerazzuri dug him out of the "deep hole" he was in at Manchester United.
The Belgian striker, speaking with HLN, opened up about leaving the San Siro in August and the beginning of his second stint at Stamford Bridge.

"Kids love Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United. And Chelsea, for me, everybody knows what Chelsea means to me.
"If they ask me, why would I say no? I only realised that Chelsea was serious at the third offer. So it was €100m, then it was €105m, and then it went to €110m. Then I knew, this is truly serious.
"I was in a deep hole at Manchester United. I did not want to go behind Inter's back.
"So after training, I went to Simone Inzaghi's office. I did not want to ruin the atmosphere because my head was no longer in Milan. So I asked him: please find an agreement."

Ultimately, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferred other options to the Belgian and he made the move to Milan where he flourished leading the Italian giants to their first Scudetto in 10 years, last season.
On his second debut for Chelsea, he dominated Arsenal's centre-half pairing of Pablo Mari and Rob Holding, scoring the opener as the Blues swept their London rivals away with ease.
Lukaku is confident that these type of performances will continue under Thomas Tuchel after the current round of internationals are over and the Premier League resumes.
"The first two training sessions, that intensity was so high," Lukaku said.
"For the first two or three days, I had a bit of a scare. But two days before the [Arsenal] match we had a training session where I stored two goals and I thought yes.
"The team is looking good, the coach is looking good, I love the system that we play. It is the same system as here [with Belgium], only the emphasis is different.
"For me, it is fantastic because I play in a team that dominates."
Chelsea's Premier League campaign resumes on September 11th as they host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
