Martin O'Neill says he told Roy Keane to "shave his beard" whilst the pair were pictured embracing after last night's victory over Italy.
Speaking at a press conference in Versailles this afternoon, O'Neill revealed what he and the Ireland assistant manager said to one another after the final whistle.
"I told him to shave his beard" he said, "Because it was ruffling my chin. And that I don't want him to hug me again ever.
"He told me that I was an ugly sod, to which I agreed wholeheartedly."

The duo have been at the helm of a number of historic victories including Ireland's 1-0 win over world champions Germany and guided Ireland to the European Championships after a play-off victory over Bosnia.
Ireland will now face France in Lyon on Sunday afternoon, the first time the sides have met since Thierry Henry's infamous handball in 2009 which effectively cost Ireland their spot at the 2010 World Cup.
