Harry Maguire has told Gareth Southgate that he is fit to face Scotland on Friday evening after missing England's opening game at the European Championships
Maguire, who has not featured for Manchester United since early May, did not feature at all at Wembley on Sunday against Croatia, however, the centre-half has declared himself ready for Friday's clash with Steve Clarke's side.
"I am available to the manager for selection," Maguire said.
"I have done a few sessions now and feel like my fitness is there. Obviously, the injury was a setback football-wise. Internationally, I wanted to come into this with a lot of games under my belt with full fitness, but I feel good.
"I don't feel like there is any risk."
Tyrone Mings replaced Maguire last Sunday at Wembley and acquitted himself well alongside John Stones. It remains to be seen whether or not Southgate will bring Maguire back in.
Since picking up the injury against Aston Villa in the Premier League, there were fears around the England camp that Maguire would be unable to recover in time for Euro 2020.
Maguire insisted he was confident that he would return at some point during the group stages, however, he admitted that he was worried that he might miss the tournament after failing to return for United's Europa League final against Villareal.
"For sure, I always felt within myself that I would be fit at some point of the group stage," Maguire said.
"I did not know when. We are going well, we are on the right path. Every day I get more confident and it gets stronger.
"I knew the extent of the injury as soon as I got injured, I knew it was going to be pretty serious because it didn't come from impact or contact. I knew it was a twist straight away so there would be some sort of ligament damage in there.
"Obviously, you fear the worst. I feared missing the Europa League final and then obviously the Euros as well. I managed to make this squad but I was not able to make the Europa League final, but I am here and I am ready to go," Maguire concluded.
After collecting all three points against Croatia, England will have the opportunity to seal their progression to the knockout phase with another victory at Scotland's expense.
The Tartan Army will be looking to improve on their disappointing opener, a 2-0 loss to the Czech Republic and will not be short of motivation at Wembley.
