Mino Raiola's behaviour regarding Paul Pogba is an "embarrassment" that may result in players leaving his agency, according to Damien Delaney.
Delaney was talking on Off The Ball on the day that Raiola has been doing the media rounds to defend his client at Manchester United.
"I can't understand why he is doing all this. He is an agent - stay in the shadows, mind your own business and let your player do his own talking," said Delaney.
"Why get involved with a spat?
"It is unprofessional. If you have a problem with Solskjaer, just phone him up and have it out with him. It doesn't need to be aired in public."
Mino Raiola: embarrassment to football?
As to whether the bombastic nature of Mino Raiola means that players will flock to him as an agent, Delaney was damning.
"He is an embarrassment to football. He shouldn't be anywhere near the airwaves.
"Agents are a necessity, but just do your job and go back into the shadows.
"What 'cause' is he fighting for Pogba? All Solskjaer was saying [in the press] was that he is a Manchester United player.
"When he comes out and says 'Pogba does not belong to anyone', [Solskjaer] is right - he is a Manchester United player.
"If they want to sell him, they'll sell him - if they don't, they won't."
Pogba
Delaney believes that the sale of Pogba may prove a Pyrrhic victory for Raiola, as clubs will tire of his theatrics as an agent.
"Clubs will quickly get bored of you as an agent, regardless of who your players are.
"If clubs won't do business with an agent, then players will leave the agent.
"It might work to get Pogba out, but if it doesn't then players will lose faith in him quickly.
"Once one leaves, it is like dominoes, all the other players will leave."
