It was a week of change for the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, as two manager's from the Irish top flight parted ways with their club.
Martin Russell was the first to go. The Limerick FC manager parted company with the promoted First Division side after recording just two wins in their opening six games of the season.
They remain outside of the relegation zone and a win this weekend could see them jump up to fifth in the league, ahead of Bohemians.
Willie Boland will take over on an interim basis and faces a trip to Richmond Park to face St Patrick's Athletic for his first game in charge.
Dave Robertson was the next to depart. He too left by mutual decision, however Sligo Rovers are in a considerably worse position.
One win and four defeats in their opening seven games sees them sit second from bottom, only propped up by basement club Galway United.
A 1-1 draw with Galway last Friday turned out to be Robertson's final game in charge. Declan McIntyre will take charge on a temporary basis, including their visit of Bohemians this weekend.
With the increased pressure of three teams being relegated this season, teams are feeling the heat even more to retain their top flight status.
Cork City have no such worries. They've won all seven of their opening games of this season. They've conceded just four times and have already opened up a six-point lead over champions Dundalk.
John Caulfield's side host Derry City on Friday night and the Candystripes could move into second with a win.
Shamrock Rovers did enough to see off Finn Harps last weekend and will again face a tough trip to Drogheda United.
Harps will take some positives from the performance when they face Dundalk this weekend.
Elsewhere, Galway United travel to Bray Wanderers.
