Dundalk welcome Cork City to Oriel Park this weekend, with the reigning Premier Division champions tasked with ending the league leaders' unbeaten run.
John Caulfield's men have dropped just two points from their opening 16 games of the season and go to Louth with one of the best records against Dundalk over the past 18 months.
Cork have won five of their last seven games in all competitions against Dundalk and have been in formidable form this season.
Elsewhere, Shamrock Rovers can climb into the top three with a win against basement club St. Patrick's Athletic. Stephen Bradley's men have won two of their last three games.
Bohemians host Drogheda United, who haven't scored in their last two games, while Sligo Rovers can climb out of the bottom three with a win against Finn Harps.
Galway United will be happy to see the back of Dublin based teams for a while after defeats to Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians. They travel to Maginn Park to take on Derry City.
