Henrik Larsson was quick to run to the defence of his son Jordan after he was mobbed by Helsingborgs IF fans following their relegation from the Swedish top flight.
Helsingborgs IF suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Halmstads to drop out of the Allsvenskan and the clearly frustrated fans took to the pitch after the game to vent their frustrations.
Jordan Larsson was escorted off the pitch after masked 'fans' surrounded him on the pitch and father Henrik was quick to defend his son.
The Celtic legend confronted members of the crowd after the incident.
"I didn’t see that they attacked Jordan but if I had, I would have gone in there towards him," Larsson Sr said after the game.
"I was not going to run from there. If they turn on me, they turn on me. I had been beaten."
