There was joy for Harry Arter and his partner Rachel last night, following the birth of their daughter Raine.
The Ireland international confirmed the news on his Instagram account, which included a tribute to their daughter Renee, who tragically passed away in December 2015 after she was stillborn.
"A rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravage of a storm."
"When the rainbow appears, it doesn’t mean the storm never happened or that the family is now dealing with its aftermath."
"What is means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkest clouds."
Baby Raine has also been given the middle name Renee, to further commemorate her older sister.
Arter has spoken candidly of the heartbreak he suffered following Renee's death and has received resounding support in the months that followed.
