Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley still has not ruled out the possibility of signing Graham Cummins from Premier Division rivals Cork City.
There have been reports that the former St Johnstone sharpshooter could move to Tallaght Stadium with Hoops midfielder Joel Coustrain going in the other direction.
"No," Bradley told Off The Ball when asked if there was any news on the reported signing of the 31-year-old striker. "Graham's a player we like, we've made no secret of that, I've liked him for a long time. He's a goalscorer.
"But he's a Cork at the moment and we'll just see where that one goes."
It has been a busy transfer window for Bradley already with UCD duo Neil Farrugia and Gary O'Neill joining the Tallaght club on Wednesday.
The club already has several players to choose from in midfield but the head coach feels the pair add something new to the mix.
"I think they're different to what we have," said Bradley. "I think they suit what we do. You can look at it and say; 'Are they overloaded there, are they strong there?'
"I think you need to have a really strong squad if you want to compete and win things, and that's what we want to do so Gary O'Neill really adds to us."

O'Neill gained a lot of experience with the Students with whom he became captain at the age of 20 while he also played a big part in their historic Europa League campaign in 2015.
"He's been a captain, he's won things, he's been away (Port Vale, Southport & Hereford)," added Bradley. "For someone that young, he has a lot of experience in the game, he has a really calm head and he plays the game at a really fast pace in his head.
"He's one we liked from a long time ago and when the opportunity came to get him, we went and did that."
Bradley hasn't ruled out making more signings in this transfer window as Rovers attempt to crank up the pressure on Premier Division leaders Dundalk in the second half of the season.
"If a player becomes available in any position that we feel improves us and fits what we do, we'll look to [sign them].
"It doesn't matter if it's a centre-forward, another midfielder, a goalkeeper, a defender, if we feel it improves us and they fit into everything we do, we'll try and make it work."
