Croatian winger Ivan Perisic has completed a medical today ahead of his initial loan move to Bayern Munich. The club will have the option to sign him permanently next season.
The former United target was spotted in Munich today and speaking to German newspaper Bild, he said: "Yeah, I just had the medical check-up."
The 30-year-old will be moving to Bavaria on an initial loan move worth around €5m. Bayern would need to pay an extra €21m at the end of the season to make the move permanent.
Perisic moved to Inter Milan back in 2015 and has scored 37 goals across all competitions for the club.
He's also had a successful international career with Croatia, reaching the World Cup final last year in Russia.
Bayern were eager to sign the Croatian after their deal to sign Leroy Sane from Manchester City fell apart after his injury.
After the departures of long-time tandem Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery at the end of last season, Bayern have been looking to replenish their attacking options.
While Perisic doesn't have youth on his side he will provide Bayern with a much-needed scoring threat from the wing.
