Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft believes that Manchester United is still an enticing prospect for players, as we discussed the future of Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian Red Bull Salzburg striker is hot property in the transfer market, as Fjortoft told us that 'twenty' clubs are interested in Haaland.
But it was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while at Molde, that placed his faith in Haaland and, with Manchester United's unconvincing goalscoring this season, some have drawn a link between the two.
"I think that Manchester United would still have the attraction to players," Fjortoft told The Football Show.
"Maybe it's a fantastic time to go to Manchester United now when they are struggling as they absolutely need that kind of striker.
"I can't see him going to Manchester United just because of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"Alf Inge Haaland is also experienced enough to find the next move for him that should be good for him."
As for the manifold clubs interested in Haaland Jr, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid have been linked - but Jan has new information.
"I had a German journalist on this morning that said Dortmund are very, very interested in him.
"That is because Dortmund are thinking 'should he go to a big club straight away, or should he not go to the biggest club?'
"Somehow you feel the family love England, so you feel that that will be his preferred target.
"That, and unbelievable amounts of money!"
