Celtic begin the defense of their Scottish League title away to Hearts on August 6th as Brendan Rodgers looks to get his stint as the Hoops' manager off to a winning start.
The first Old Firm in the league since Rangers' demotion four years ago will take place on September 10th with the return fixture being fixed for December 31st.
Rodgers, who is eyeing a return to the Champions League group stages, had this to say about the fixtures list:
"It's always exciting for players, managers and supporters to see the fixtures announced,
"It lets us know what we have ahead of us and gives us that extra edge, that something to focus on.
"Early in the season we also have some very important Champions League qualifying games to look forward to, which again will be very exciting for everyone around the club. I am well aware that our fans would love to see us back in the group stages of the Champions League and this desire is shared by myself and the players - it's something we really want to achieve.
Joey Barton, who recently joined Rangers, is also looking forward to the upcoming season with fireworks expected when Celtic captain Scott Brown and the divisive Barton face each other in the Old Firm.
Love it once the fixtures are out. You know all the battles that your going to face to be successful over the course of the year... #55
