Finland international Roman Eremenko has been banned from football for two years after testing positive for cocaine.
The substance was detected in a sample from the CSKA Moscow midfielder after a Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen in September.
The start of Eremenko's ban is backdated to October the 6th when he was provisionally suspended.
"The analysis of the A sample revealed the presence of cocaine and its metabolites," said UEFA in a statement.
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder has 73 international caps, scoring five goals.
Born in the Russian capital, Moscow, he moved to Finland as a child with his family and footballer father.
Since leaving Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv in 2011, he has spent the past five years playing in Russia.
He also had a spell at Serie A side Udinese between 2005 and 2009.
