The Stoke midfielder has four Premier League goals and they have all come in the last three league matches, starting with a goal against West Brom, an equaliser at Manchester United and a brace in a victory over Sunderland last weekend.
Plus, the man who made Wales' midfield tick during Euro 2016 scored a thunderbolt on international duty against Austria - not that that's relevant in a Fantasy perspective.
Mainly that's just indicative of his transformation in front of goal.
But before we lose the run of ourselves, Mr Allen was a subject of fevered discussion on Team 33's Fantasy Premier League segment as our punditry duo of Eoin Sheahan and Tommy Rooney considered his case for inclusion in your teams ahead of Gameweek 9 this weekend.
