It is just over a month since Daryl Horgan made his debut for Preston North End.
The Galway-born winger moved to The Championship side with Dundalk teammate Andy Boyle after a successful spell with the Oriel Park side.
Five appearances, including two starts has seen the PFAI Player of the Year, quickly become a fan favourite at Deepdale. Despite his positive start, he is waiting for his first goal in English football.
While the 24-year-old has settled in quickly in The Championship, he revealed he is still getting used to the difference in training routines from what he was used to at Dundalk.

"It was evening sessions back home," Horgan told the Lancashire Post. "We were pretty much full-time but a couple of the lads had jobs as well so that would mean you’d train in the evenings. You would do your gym work in the morning and then train at 6pm. I was still in the gym at the crack of dawn back home."
"It’s a different set-up here but one that’s going to be good for me. I’m enjoying the training, with it being in the morning – it’s brilliant. Playing in the Europa League definitely helped me get up to the intensity a lot quicker."
Preston are currently in 11th place in The Championship, seven points outside the play-offs. They play Brentford at home in Deepdale on Saturday. Horgan will hope to impress once more, while Boyle could be in contention to make his debut for the team.
