League of Ireland champions Dundalk have announced the signing of former Shamrock Rovers and Derry City striker Thomas Stewart.
He joins Dundalk after a spell with Ottawa Fury.
Speaking to the club's official website at the announcement of the deal, he said: "I'm very happy, very excited. I can't wait to get going with the team. Obviously I've been away for a few years now so it's nice to get back.

Looking back on his time in America he said: "Yeah the states went great. Obviously when I first went out there the team was new and it was a big challenge but once we had 20,000 fans at the first few games that made me feel more at ease and that I'd done the right thing. The team did great and we ended up winning the championship in the first year."
