Dundalk are out of European competition after a 3-1 home defeat to Slovan Bratislava.
Vinny Perth's side had gone into tonight's Europa League qualifier trailing 1-0 from the away leg.
But Dundalk were unable to claw back that disadvantage against the Slovakian champions.
Tie Over Early
The tie was essentially over in the first half in Tallaght tonight.
Brazilian Rafael Ratao gave Slovan a 12th minute lead and they went further ahead through Aleksandar Cavric 21 minutes later.

Michael Duffy pulled one back for Dundalk with 20 minutes to go.
But Czech midfielder Erik Daniel made it 3-1 on the night to put the icing on the cake for the visitors.

Meanwhile, Scottish champions Celtic are out of the Champions League qualifiers.
Neil Lennon's side lost 4-3 to Romania's CFR Cluj at Parkhead.
Second half goals from James, Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie helped Celtic stage a fight-back after initially falling 2-0 behind on aggregate.
But the visitors scored two late goals in the final stages including one deep into stoppage time to end Celtic's hopes.
The Hoops will now play in the Europa League qualifiers where they face the winners of the tie between Moldova's Sheriff Tirsapol and Sweden's AIK.
