Derry City look like they will be unable to play any games in The Brandywell next season.
The stadium to being redeveloped by Derry City and Strabane District Council and The Candystripes will have to look for alternative accommodation for 2017.
While Irish League grounds in Derry may be used to host home matches, Derry's involvement in the Europa League means they will have to leave the city to play their home matches. The Showgrounds in Sligo could be a viable option to host their First Qualifying Round game.
The redevelopment will cost around £7million and will see a new 955-seater stand along with standing accommodation for a further 270 spectators being created.

In a statement released by the chairman Philip O'Doherty, he revealed the club's time at The Brandywell will temporarily come to an end.
“It is unlikely that any matches will be played in The Brandywell in the next 12 months. Supporters should be assured that the club is exploring the best options for the coming season."
The final game in the stadium under its current guise will take place this Sunday. The current squad take on a team of former players, with funds raised going to charity.
