Cyrus Christie has been ruled out of Ireland's provisional squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Austria.
The Derby County player will be sidelined for at least three months and is expected to see a surgeon soon after suffering an ankle injury during his side's 3-2 over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He took to Twitter today, to express his disappointment.
