Stan Collymore has claimed BT Sport have dropped him as a pundit following his calls for the channel to stop showing Rangers games as long as the club’s fans continue singing sectarian songs, including songs mocking the Irish famine.
Collymore has since been tweeting his disgust with the Glasgow’s club’s supporters, as well as calling for other to stand with him against BT.
He has called on those who back his stance to sign an online petition calling for an end to coverage of Rangers games on BT.

A statement from BT Sport said: "BT Sport does not agree with any form of racism and believes that it should not be tolerated in Sport. It is a subject which should be tackled and discussed in the correct manner.
"We did not agree with the nature of the debate on twitter, and which BT Sport was brought into without prior agreement. BT Sport will raise and discuss the issue within its programming when relevant and in an appropriate manner."
