“We wanted to make sure that we priced tickets fairly to make the events accessible to as many people as possible", FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura said, at the launch in Moscow.
"We therefore conducted thorough market research and have priced the tickets accordingly. The teams that have qualified to date for the ‘Tournament of Champions’ promise a great football festival here in Russia next year."
Tickets for next year's Confederations Cup are expected to go on sale in November, with World Cup tickets going on sale to fans next summer.
The hosts will compete in the opening match of the World Cup, in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on June 14th. Russia will also take part in the opening game of next year's Confederations Cup on June 17th in the Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg.
