Iceland's win over England on Monday night, shocked the world... Well almost all of it.
In an age of parody twitter accounts, one attributed to the former England international Carlton Cole predicted England's loss to Iceland. That in itself is not a big surprise. The prediction came last October.
Both teams had qualified for the tournament a month previously, but the draw for the Finals was not to take place until December.
The anonymous "Mr. Cole" wrote on Monday night that the prediction was made in the moments after England lost to Australia in the Rugby World Cup. The sporting nation was at a deep, deep low and there was no way that could be beaten. How wrong they sadly were...
We can now concentrate on getting pummelled out of the Euro 2016 round of 16 by Iceland
