While a number of Ireland's stars on the pitch at Euro 2016 are still doing their best to the secure moves to new clubs, a member of the Ireland youth set-up has made the switch to the Premier League.
Carlo Cudicini, who has been working as a goalkeeping coach with the Ireland U21s since 2015, will form part of Chelsea's backroom staff next season as he joins up with fellow Italian Antonio Conte.
Cudicini joined Chelsea as a player in 1999, and made over 140 appearances for the club. Although he began his career at Stamford Bridge as the first choice, the arrival of Petr Cech meant that he had to settle for a spot on the bench for much of the rest of his time in London.
Cudicini hinted that he would be joining Conte's team at Chelsea in the coming days with a post on Twitter, stating that a "new challenge" awaits him.

According to report in The Daily Mail, Cudicini's role may not be as a goalkeeping coach with the first team, as Gianluca Spinelli is expected to join back up with Conte given that the two worked together with the Italian national team.
