Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has hailed the Anfield atmosphere after Liverpool pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history on Tuesday.
Trailing 3-0 to Barcelona heading into the second leg at their famous ground, Jurgen Klopp's side defied the odds to knock out the Spanish champions with a 4-0 win on Merseyside.
Two goals apiece from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum sent the Reds through to the final in Madrid in June where they will play either Ajax or Tottenham as they look to win a 6th European Cup.
"It feels absolutely incredible, emotional. Something just happens at Anfield - something that you cannot explain. It happens so often - it's not luck, Thompson told Eoin on Wednesday's OTBAM.
"It's the power of Anfield. It becomes the magic kingdom of football. It's so difficult to say what you experience. I've experienced wonderful times playing at Anfield and watching but this must rank - if we do win the Champions League - it'll be the greatest ever football match Anfield has ever seen."
"The power of the fans - you heard it yourself. What has gone on since Saturday night at Newcastle. Then to Vincent Kompany's goal - then you're just dreaming that it might actually happen.
"You just have to have that belief. Jurgen said he gave the players the belief and trusted the players could actually deliver. A lot of people went along to Anfield just to watch - people I've spoken to this morning. I was getting a plane this morning and they said they actually went, thought the game was up and thought we actually just need to go and see Lionel Messi. But, we actually witnessed something that we'll remember for the rest of our lives," he added.
Liverpool are still in the hunt for the Premier League title as we approach the final day of the season when they entertain Wolves at Anfield.
