Bayern Munich slipped up for only the third time this season with a 1-1 draw at home to Hoffenheim.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a goal from Kerem Demirbay. Munich were fortunate to level when Steven Zubar turned the ball into his own net.
Bayern dominated possession and had 21 shots but only five went on target. The draw moves the champions onto 24 points, three ahead of Leipzig who have a game in hand. Hoffenheim remain four points behind the leaders.
Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund made light work of Hamburg with a 5-2 away win. Star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led the rout bagging four goals with Ousmane Dembele adding a fifth. Nicolai Muller scored twice for Hamburg.
