Gerard Pique has won everything there is to win at Barcelona, so the defender has turned his attention to helping secure sponsorship for the La Liga giants.
Japanese retailer Rakuten were announced on Wednesday as the new club sponsor from next season. It was revealed at the launch, which will see the company act as sponsors for four years, was initially brokered by Pique himself.

The deal which is worth €55million each season, is one of the biggest in World football. Rakuten will replace Qatar Airways as the primary sponsor from next summer.
Barcelona president Jose Bartomeu confirmed that the defender and Rakuten's owner in 2015, during Barcelona's pre-season tour to America set the wheels in motion for the substantial deal.
Pique and Mikitani have had a public relationship in recent years, with the defender even posting a photo on Twitter in 2015 of a meeting between the two.

It looks like Pique might end his career at Barcelona, as a star, both on and off the Camp Nou pitch.
