Wales star Gareth Bale has reiterated his belief that his side have more pride and passion than England.
The British rivals face each other in their second Euro 2016 Group B match on Thursday in Lens.
England boss Roy Hodgson has called Bale's comments "disrespectful", while Jack Wilshere stood firm, "One thing about this team that no one has ever questioned is our pride and passion. We're all representing our country, we all love England. There are a lot of young players in there as well who have no fear and they want to show the nation they can do it and we'll definitely be ready on that front."
But Bale is standing by his comments.
"I'm glad that [my comments] bit," he said.
"I never said they didn't have passion or pride, but it's my opinion that we have more. People like to take things out of context but I stand by my comments. If people feel I was being disrespectful... I wasn't. But whatever sport it is, whether its Football, Rugby..., I feel that we always take it to the next level."
