Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted his future at the club will be sorted out in the near future.
Months of speculation have hounded the Frenchman this term after his side failed to mount any real title charge this season. The north London side eventually finished outside the top four for the first time since he took over at the club.
He appeared to redeem himself on Saturday after he claimed a third FA Cup in four years with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Wembley.
Speaking afterwards he said: "I just want to do well for this club. After, it's down to the board members am I the right man to take this club further. It's not about popularity, it's about competence."

Arsenal finished 18 points off league winners Chelsea and seven off a top four spot.
The club will compete in the Europa League next season and may struggle to attract the big signings they require if they are to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title.
