Alvaro Morata to rejoin Real Madrid

Spain striker Alvaro Morata is to rejoin Real Madrid at the end of Euro 2016.

The Juventus striker has scored twice in the tournament so far. Both of his goals came against Group D rivals Turkey in Spain's 3-0 win.

Morata joined Juventus from the European champions ahead of the 2014/15 season. The Spanish club inserted the right to buy him back into the contract.

Since joining Juventus, Morata has impressed for the Turin side winning two Serie A titles and to Coppa Italias. He scored 27 goals in his two seasons with the club.

The 23-year-old has started both of Spain's games so far in the tournament, as Vicente del Bosque has given the striker the role of leading the Spanish attack.

"We're just waiting for them to get in touch and then we'll see, but the chance of him staying is slim", Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta told Corriere dello Sport.

Morata may not be at his former club for long. It is expected he will be sold on almost immediately to another club, as the Madrid side will look to make a healthy profit.
