Celtic fan Jay Beatty, who was nominated for last month's Scottish Premier League Goal of the Month, has won with 97 per cent of the vote.
The 10-year-old, who suffers from Down Syndrome, scored the goal during a half-time penalty shootout during Celtic's game against Hamilton Academical.
Former Celtic forward and Greek international Georgios Samaras, who brought Jay to the World Cup in Brazil last year, congratulated him via video message:
"Jay, it’s great to see you scoring goals like me and I’m very happy to announce you as winner of goal of the month,’ he said.
"Well done on such a great job. I miss you and hope to see you soon."
Jay's father Martin spoke proudly of his son's achievement:
"Not many of us get to live our dreams and Jay is getting to live all our dreams. Thank you to everyone for making this possible. We are so grateful and proud."
