Sheahan in Japan: cultural pioneer's Rugby World Cup fan videos

Our man Eoin Sheahan has spent the last month on his cultural mission to Japan, ensuring that those in East Asia are now fully aware of the crucial importance of Kerrygold and Páidí Ó Sé's Pub to global function.

Now that Ireland's World Cup dreams were mercilessly shattered by Steve Hansen's All Blacks™, we take a look back at Eoin's relentless search for content under every rock of the Japanese islands.

Luckily, under almost every stone resided Ireland fans fifteen-deep into the Kirins and Asahis, dressed in everything from kimonos, Leinster shirts and Gardai uniforms.

So, in one handy place, we have collected all of Eoin's best bits from his cultural adventures (and we have reserved the right to destroy all of the footage that he sent that would destroy both his and our reputation.)

Without further ado, we bring you Sheahan in Japan:

Gav's a f*cking bullshitter

Poor Gav. The tournament started with a bang, as Ireland demolished a poor Scotland side. Those were the days, eh? Eoin's adventure started with the hubris turned up to 100. Worth it alone for the lad who drops a curse, before realising he is on Off The Ball and there's a good chance someone he works with will see...

"Up the Deise!"

A lot of Japanese voices in this one as the home nation put the earliest pin-prick to Irish confidence. Always nice to see the Deise mentioned, and some sweet frisbee action and philosophical mic drops.

Up next was Russia, as Ireland stumbled over the line in Kobe. "TELL ME WHYYYY"!

The rollercoaster continued with the win over Samoa, with a lot of standing up, sitting down and shoes off for the Japanese. Can't help thinking that the Japanese shoe shops
