James Ryan must see an independent concussion consultant as he recovers from a head injury.
The lock was withdrawn shortly before half-time in Ireland's 53-7 win over Argentina earlier this month, and wasn't considered for last Friday's United Rugby Championship meeting with Ulster as a result.
Ahead of Connacht's visit to the RDS on Friday, Leinster have given an update on Ryan's condition.
The province say he's completed his own graduated return to play protocols, and will increase his training load this week.
However, they add that - in line with World Rugby protocols - the 25-year old will continue to be monitored and must see a consultant.
Ryan suffered a pair of concussions during the course of last year's Six Nations, and was sidelined for a number of weeks as a result.
Meanwhile, Jamison Gibson-Park will have a thigh injury assessed this week before Leo Cullen's side entertain Connacht.
Max Deegan suffered a mouth injury during the defeat to Ulster, having himself replaced Dan Leavy. Leavy is also following the return-to-play protocols after taking a knock to the head in that game.
Jack Conan (quad), Johnny Sexton (knee and ankle), Conor O’Brien (hamstring), Dave Kearney (back), Michael Milne (calf), Rory O’Loughlin (shoulder) all remain sidelined.
