Simon Zebo criticises section of Ulster fans for comments during Racing defeat

Simon Zebo has come out against sections of Ulster's fans, intimating that unacceptable comments were made to him during Racing 92's loss to Ulster yesterday.

The former Munster man travelled to Belfast to play Ulster in the Champions Cup, and intimated in an Instagram post that he heard comments directed towards him that were "not on".

Zebo played a crucial part in the team's performance, scoring a try before leaving the field with bandaging on his leg, but it will be his post-match comments that will likely prompt investigation.

"A tough place to play but great team spirit from the brothers, important 2 points on the road..

Also I hope my ears deceived me with some comments directed my way from the crowd..

#NotOn

Django wins in the end"

On the field, the double-bonus point defeat for Racing keeps them in first in Pool 4, with Ulster firmly ensconced in second place, with Leicester Tigers and Scarlets making up the numbers in distant third and fourth.

Jacob Stockdale stars

Racing were beaten 26-22 by an Ulster side that starred Jacob Stockdale with double try-scoring performance, and led to effusive praise from Ulster coach, Dan McFarland:

"Everybody in Ireland saw what he can do against the All Blacks. Today he did it twice, it could have been three times. He's a special player, he's very important to us. He produces the goods on big days. That's what great players do," said McFarland.

Stockdale himself spoke to media afterwards:

"This is a massive performance and massive achievement," he said.

"We are really pleased with how we played - to topple a French side like Racing is massive.

"We are just happy to get over the line and come away with the win."
