WATCH: Relive a winning Pro 12 weekend for the Irish

Given that we're entering the budding weeks of Spring, Irish rugby's eyes are mostly trained on the Six Nations.

But while Ireland were putting nine tries past Italy on Saturday in their second 2017 Six Nations clash, the Irish provinces also had their own commitments to take care of.

On Friday night, Munster and Ulster got a good weekend started in style with wins in their Pro 12 encounters.

At Irish Independent Park, Pro 12 leaders Munster saw off Newport Dragons 45-17, running in five tries and securing a bonus point against the Welsh side.

Tyler Bleyendaal was in particularly good form, with his role in Andrew Conway's try particularly impressive.

If you missed highlights from the game, fear not. You'll find the best of the action right here:

It was tighter between Ulster and Edinburgh at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast but the Irish province came away with a six point victory by a 24-18 scoreline.

However, a bonus point was secured by Ulster as tries from Paul Marshall, Darren Cave, Louis Ludik and Jacob Stockdale got them over the line.

Here is action from the Round 14 clash:

Leinster were away on Sunday with a trip to Italy. However, they defeated Benetton Treviso 40-14 with six tries in a bonus point victory.

Dave Kearney was among the try scorers, with the Ireland cap helping himself to two tries.

That victory keeps Leinster within four points of Munster in the upper reaches of the Pro 12 table.

Connacht were the last of the four Irish provinces to take to the field and at one point against Cardiff Blues in Wales, it wasn't looking too good.

But Pat Lam's overhauled a 13-0 deficit. Starting with a crucial Matt Healy try just before half time, Connacht battled back to level. Then Tiernan O'Halloran supplied a vital drop goal just before the end to push Connacht ahead on their way to a 19-13 victory and clean sweep fro the Irish teams this weekend.
