"It's good to be back and part of a team again. You have 15 years of it and then after a couple of days of retirement, you start panicking about being on your own. My family team wasn't quite enough, so I needed to find a new one - and this is it!"

Brian O'Driscoll has only just left the rugby team environment, having played his final game for Leinster on Saturday.

But now he makes a very swift return to a team, as he joins up with Off The Ball as a co-presenter.

The legendary 13 met the team today and sat down for a chat and he discussed the challenge of the punditry aspect of analysing former team-mates' performances publicly.

He also admitted that the final moments of his illustrious career were testing, having been forced off injured against Glasgow less than 9 minutes in.

"I had to watch it inside on the telly. I couldn't stay out there. Not that I was really emotional or anything. I was just bit sick and I went in and had ice on my leg and the five second delay on the TV was torturous," said BOD.

Turns out he was carrying that injury for a long time...
