Munster's RG Snyman will have to wait a bit longer for his comeback from injury after suffering a setback during the final stage of his rehabilitation.
Munster have confirmed that the South African World Cup winner will see a knee specialist this week and will undergo a minor procedure on his knee after suffering an unrelated injury.
Snyman was close to a return after suffering an ACL in his opening game for Munster against Leinster in August 2020.
However, the fresh injury will delay his return to training for a number of weeks.

The former Blue Bulls lock arrived with fellow Sprinkbok Damian de Allende last summer and has been a major loss for Munster.

Munster will be back in action on Friday when they face Ulster at Thomond Park in the Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup.
