English Premiership rugby union club Sale Sharks have sacked winger Tom Arscott after allegations he leaked confidential team information.
He met his brother, Bristol back Luke Arscott, before their teams played on New Year's Day.
The Sharks suspended him three days later on January 4th.
In a short statement, Sale said that following a disciplinary investigation and hearing, they had cancelled Arscott's contract.

Sale have had a difficult season in the 2016-17 Premiership.
They sit 10th of 12 teams in the league table, having lost their last six league fixtures since a 31-13 bonus point victory away at Bristol on October 30th at Ashton Gate.
Sale have also endured a difficult season in the European Rugby Champions Cup in this campaign.
Drawn in a pool with fellow Premiership side Saracens, French side Toulon and Wales' Scarlets, Sale have lost five from five to sit bottom of Pool 3.
