SOCCER - PL
A goal from Republic of Ireland striker Michael Obafemi denied Manchester United a place in the Premier League's top four last night.
He struck six-minutes into added time to salvage a 2-2 draw for Southampton at Old Trafford.
Stuart Armstrong had put the Saints in front, before United led for most of the match after goals by Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
The result leaves United in fifth position, behind Leicester City on goal difference.
The Red Devils still have Champions League qualification in their own hands, as they play Leicester on the final day.
United's slip is good news for Chelsea, who are in action tonight.
They can open up a four point gap between themselves and fifth place with a win at home to relegated Norwich City.
Chelsea are currently hanging on to a place in the Premier League's top four following Saturday's 3-nil defeat at Sheffield United.
Kick-off at Stamford Bridge is at 8.15.

CHAMPIONSHIP
And there's plenty at stake at the top and bottom of the Championship this evening.
Second placed West Brom can move a big step closer to promotion to the Premier League with a win over Fulham - who occupy 4th.
Cardiff continue their play-off push at home to Derby, while Millwall also have hopes of a top six finish ahead of their game with Blackburn.
Luton could climb out of the relegation zone by beating QPR, as fellow strugglers Hull go to Wigan.
Two sides just outside the bottom three, Middlesbrough and Huddersfield, play away at Reading and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.

STOKE MCCLEAN
Stoke's James McClean has accused football of double standards of racist and sectarian abuse.
He says it "leaves a sour taste", that he hasn't been given the same support when targeted.
On Facebook, he's also criticised his Republic of Ireland team-mates, stating they'd post a black square in support of anti-racism, but never speak up for him.
Stoke hasn't responded to the claims.

NEVILLE FAIR PLAY
Former England and Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes UEFA's financial fair play rules just don't make sense.
Manchester City's two-year ban from Europe for alleged breaches of the regulations has been overturned at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Neville says he thinks football authorities should encourage more investment - rather than crack down on it.

WYCOMBE PROMOTION
Wycombe can start looking forward to their first ever season in the second tier of English football.
They gained promotion to the Championship last night with a 2-1 win over Oxford in the League One play-off final at Wembley.
A second-half penalty from Joe Jacobson sealed the victory.

RUGBY - PAY CUTS
Players' pay will be cut for the remainder of the year.
Talks between the IRFU and Rugby Players Ireland finally reached an accord last night.
Players will see 10 per cent of their salaries reduced for the last six months of the year.
10 per cent will also be deferred.

MUNSTER DE ALLENDE
And Munster hope to have Damien De Allende fit for the resumption of the Pro 14.
Their new signing is working through a groin problem.
Tadhg Beirne, Keith Earls, Calvin Nash, John Ryan and Dave Kilcoyne are all set to resume group training later this month.

REDSKINS
American football team the Washington Redskins have confirmed they'll be dropping the 'Redskins' part of their name.
The owner and head coach of the NFL side will now work on a new name and logo.
They launched a review 10 days ago following pressure from sponsors and Native American groups.
