Munster's Dave Foley set for Pau switch

Munster have confirmed that second row Dave Foley is leaving the club at the end of the season.

The Clonmel native, who has won two Ireland caps, will join French side Pau where his ex-teammates James Coughlan, Paddy Butler and Sean Dougall are already part of the first team squad.

Simon Mannix, who previously worked with Foley between 2011 and 2014 during his time as Munster backs coach, is currently head coach at Pau.

The club are currently fifth in the French Top 14 table in 2016-17 after 21 rounds of action.

The 28 year old second row appears to have already played his last game for Munster as a wrist injury rules him out for the rest of the season.

Foley made his Ireland debut during the 2014 November Internationals, in a match against Georgia, before a substitute appearance against Australia during the same series.

He has made 84 appearances for Munster since making his debut in 2010.
