Munster Player Ratings

Munster beat Glasgow 10-7 in a low scoring but highly entertaining match in Cork.

We rate Rassie Erasmus' men after their three point win:

Andrew Conway - 8

Lively throughout in attack and defence. Brave in the air and took a brilliant Garryowen early on. Playing with confidence at the moment.

Darren Sweetnam - 7

Played his part in a fine defensive effort. Got involved whenever the ball came out his way.

Francis Saili - 7

Mixed display from the centre. Powerful running mixed in with some poor decisions - particularly kicking ahead when on a three on two overlap in the second half.

Jaco Taute - 8

Imposing throughout and always looking to run over somebody.

Ronan O'Mahony - 7

Like Sweetnam, waited for the ball to come his way. Limited opportunities but did well in possession.

Tyler Bleyendaal - N/A

Started the game as he usually does but had to be replaced after taking an early knock.

Duncan Williams - 8

Kept the defence honest and passed crisply throughout. Ran at gaps whenever they presented themselves.

James Cronin - 7

Powered over for an early try which set the tone for his performance before being replaced early in the second half.

Rhys Marshall - 7

Operated the line out efficiently and got stuck in defensively.

Stephen Archer - 7

Solid in the scrum and in defence.

Dave O'Callaghan - 7

Workmanlike display and embraced the physical nature of the game.

Billy Holland - 8

Industrious display in the engine room. Enjoyed the physical battle and won the odd turnover. Led by example.

Jean Deysel - 7

Powerful display from the debutant. Set up the first try with a barnstorming run. Emptied the tank before being replaced. Good addition to the squad.

Conor Oliver - 9

Gritty display from the openside. Popped up all over the park. Valuable turnover in the dying minutes. One for the future.

Jack O'Donoghue - 7

Got stuck in from the off and embraced the physical challenge.

Bench - 8

The replacements were the reason Munster saw out this game. Scannell replaced Bleyendaal effortlessly. The big guns at the end got them over the line.
