With the return of international rugby this Saturday, Energia and impressionist Mario Rosenstock have released a return to rugby song to get us amped up ahead of the Guinness Six Nations when Ireland take on Italy at the Aviva Stadium.
It has been a difficult eight months for sport with matches postponed and fans unable to attend the stadium to show their support. Energia with the help of comedian Mario Rosenstock, are determined to lift fan’s spirits, share the laughter, and bring people together from the safety of their home with the ultimate rugby anthem.
“Six months we needed patience, but now it’s time for Guinness Six Nations. Savage, proud, ready, able; beat Italy, France and reach top the table! New coach, fresh new blood Rob Kearney, out to stud.… Then we’re back! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! We’re back!”
Mario parodies several Irish rugby players, past and present, including current Irish Rugby Captain, Johnny Sexton, Ronan O’Gara, Brian O’Driscoll, Devin Toner and Rory Best.
